Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar, a lively neighborhood seafood joint located in the landlocked community of East Cobb since 2016, is the vision of chef and owner Doug Turbush. Boasting fresh fish and oysters flown in daily from the coasts, preparations are simple, elegant and centered around the restaurant’s wood-fired grill. Local ingredients, options for both plant and animal eaters alike, and housemade desserts ensure something for everyone on the seasonal dinner menu. Pairing perfectly with flavors from the sea, hand-crafted cocktails and local beers round out a beverage menu that is well stocked with sparkling, white, rose and red wine selections curated by sommelier Jason Raymond. The patio is home to Pop’s, a New England-style lobster shack pop-up offering takeout, curbside pickup, and outdoor dining every Saturday and Sunday. Drift is proud to be the first restaurant in Georgia to become an official partner with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch® program, and is committed to sourcing seafood in ways that minimize the impact on ocean and freshwater environments.
